Suvbharat Times | 31032021 | www.suvbharattimes.in/ Pakistan is an Islamic country and alcohol is prohibited in Islam. But Pakistan has now started a beer factory in Balochistan for China. For this, China took a license in 2018. Previously, Pak has shut down the Muslim community in Xinjiang for its atrocities, but now Pakistan is ready to bypass all faith and religion for its China.
This factory has been set up by Hui Distillery Limited of China. The company manufactures several internationally renowned brands. Two of these brands will manufacture in Pakistan. While taking the license, he argued that he wants to start making beer for Chinese citizens working in his various schemes running in Pakistan.
An official of the provincial excise and taxation department said that the company was granted a license, which is implemented in 2017. The company registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on 30 April 2020 after completing the setting up of the liquor plant. Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery Limited, the maker of some well-known alcohol brands, has commenced production at its plant in Balochistan. Beer produced at the plant of various projects started in Pakistan will be sent to Chinese citizens.
The director-general of Excise and Taxation South said a license was issued to the Chinese company in 2018 as it submitted an application to the authorities concerned in 2017. It claimed that the beer and liquor brand the company produces is not available in Pakistan. He confirmed that the company formally launched its beer production last week in various areas of Pakistan under the Sino-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and mines and mineral projects in Balochistan.
